About This Safari
The Phato Eco Tourism Zone is one of the newest and most scenic zones of Jim Corbett National Park, developed to promote community-led and sustainable wildlife tourism. Located on the southern edge of the park, Phato is surrounded by dense sal and mixed deciduous forests, creating a perfect habitat for elephants, deer, and the majestic Bengal tiger.
This zone offers a serene, crowd-free safari experience ideal for nature enthusiasts and photographers. Visitors often enjoy glimpses of peacocks dancing in the open meadows, herds of elephants crossing forest trails, and the echoing calls of birds that fill the air with life.

Important Pricing Information (Hotel/Residence Pickup Radius)
Safari pricing of ₹8,000 per vehicle is valid when the guest’s hotel or residence is located within 10 km of the selected safari zone. Since safari permits in Uttarakhand are issued per vehicle (1–6 travelers), this rate covers the complete round trip — pickup, drop-off, and the safari experience — within the 10 km pickup radius.
If the pickup location is beyond the 10 km range, additional distance-based charges apply to cover extended travel and logistics.
